Professional experience

PhD Fellow, Copenhagen Business School

October 2023-present

My work focuses on European industrial policy and how historical, structural and institutional constraints forces public policy and investment to mirror entrepreneurial logics. Specifically, I’m interested in exploring the evolving role of competition- and state aid law in shaping the bounds of European public investment, particularly in the context of the green transition.

Visiting Researcher, European Institute, the London School of Economics and Political Science

September 2025-January 2026

During my research stay, where I visited Prof. Benjamin Braun, I took part in regular seminars at the institute and brought two papers to the submission stage.

Treasurer and Vice-Chair, CBS PhD Association

November 2023-November 2025

Contributed to increasing the organisation's presence on campus, both among PhDs and in institutional settings.

Intern, OECD

June 2022-August 2022

As public policy intern at the OECD (CFE/EST division), I performed high-quality research under the auspices of the ”SME Scale-Up Phase II”-project (co-funded with the European Commission) to better understand the role of network linkages in SME internationalisation efforts. The work primarily involved policy mapping, framework conceptualisation, and report drafting.

Legal and policy assistant, European Commission

March 2021-September 2021

As Legal and Policy Assistant at DG GROW, I provided qualified support to line units and coordinated the competition policy, in addition to serving as the case handler for COVID-related State Aid notifications.

As part of DG GROW’s CompetitionTeam, I followed- and helped coordinate the directorate’s position on various competition policy initiatives.

As part of DG GROW’s Postal Services Team, I contributed to the evaluations of the Postal Services Directive and the Cross-Border Parcel Regulation, by among other things building a database of user needs surveys across the Union.
